CONTEST & GIVEAWAY RULES

These are the official rules for every contest, tournament and giveaway with a real-world prize that SLUG THUG ("Sponsor") runs, including ones run with a creator. Each contest also has an announcement (a post, an email or an in-game notice) that gives its dates, its prize, how to enter and how it's judged. The announcement and these rules together are the official rules for that contest. Where they differ, the announcement's specific details apply.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Buying something won't improve your chances. Nothing in the game can be bought with real money anyway.

• Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 or older when they enter.
• Entrants need a SLUG THUG account in good standing. Banned accounts, and accounts on hold for an economy check, can't win.
• Employees and contractors of SLUG THUG, the creator running a giveaway with us, and their households can't enter.
• Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

SLUG THUG contests are contests of skill. Winners are decided by the criteria in the announcement, such as a score, a time, or judging against stated criteria. They are never decided by chance. Ties are broken as the announcement says, or otherwise by the earliest qualifying entry.

If a contest ever uses a random drawing, its announcement will say so and will give a free way to enter and the odds of winning.

Cheating, multiple accounts or tampering disqualifies you. The Sponsor's decisions are final.

• The prize and its approximate retail value are stated in the announcement. Prizes ship to US addresses only.
• Prizes can't be transferred or exchanged for cash. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if one becomes unavailable.
• Winners pay any taxes on their prize. For prizes worth $600 or more, we'll need a W-9, and the prize will be reported to the IRS.

We'll contact winners through the game, or at their account email, within 7 days of the contest ending. A winner has 7 days to reply with a shipping address. For a larger prize, we may also ask them to confirm they're eligible and sign a simple release. If a winner doesn't reply, or isn't eligible, we may choose the next qualifying entry. We may announce winners by player name. We'll never publish a real name without permission.

Contests aren't sponsored, endorsed or run by Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Twitch, Reddit or any other platform where they're announced, and those platforms have no responsibility for them.

By entering, you agree to these rules and to the Terms of Play. You also release SLUG THUG from claims arising from the contest or a prize, except where the law doesn't allow that. We may cancel, change or suspend a contest if something outside our control (a bug, fraud or a technical failure) affects it. If we do, we'll award prizes fairly from eligible entries received before the problem.

We use entrants' information only to run the contest and send prizes, as described in our Privacy Policy. These rules are governed by the laws of California.
